31.08.2005 The aim of the “Lost-Found” booklet is to introduce the citizens to their rights and help them find the right address among the public institutions, so that they could realize their rights and interests. The booklet was officially presented yesterday, August 30, by its authors, Dragan Zelic and Alina Jurjevic.

31.08.2005 The “Professional Reporting on Education” training was developed by the Reuters Foundation for 11 BiH journalists that cover the field of education in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The training was sponsored by the OSCE Mission to BiH Education Department and held in the town of Mostar 24-26 August, 2005.

29.08.2005 Last week, the Foundation for Education, Science, Culture and Sports and the “Sparkle of Knowledge” Creative Centre promoted the project of creative workshops for children in elementary schools in Sarajevo and Istocno Sarajevo. The promotion was held at “Saraj” Hotel, in Sarajevo.

23.08.2005 The Montenegro Education, Science and Culture Trade Unions organizes the third annual campaign “Give away, Buy or Sell Used Schoolbooks”, with the goal to promote the exchange of schoolbooks and literature among the elementary and highschool students and to help the parents to equip their children properly for the coming school-year, for less money.

19.08.2005 Albanska vlada je odlučila na sjednici zatvorenoj za medije da će povećati kvotu mogućnosti upisa na albanske univerzitete za otprilike 25%. Vlada je također odlučila povećati školarine za studente javnih škola.

17.08.2005 The OSCE Mission in Bosnia-Hercegovina has appealed to the authorities to immediately undertake measures towards removing administrative and legislative obstacles to the implementation of full integration of 54 "two schools under the same roof", which are located in the Zenica-Doboj, Central Bosnia and the Hercegovina-Neretva Cantons.

16.08.2005 Shoqata Education Builds B&H organizoi, për të tretin vit rradhazi një tur për të drejtat e njeriut të korit “La Viva” nga Clermont Ferranda. “La Viva” ka përshtatur tekstin e Deklaratës për të Drejtat e Njeriut për interpretimin në kor dhe ka dhënë një numër koncertesh në Francë dhe Bosnjë.

15.08.2005 In a session closed to the media, held last week, the Government of Albanian decided to increase the entry quotas for Albanian Universities by approximately 25 percent. Also, the Government decided to increase the amounts of tuition fees for students of public universities.

15.08.2005 Në një mbledhje, pak të heshtur, qeveria vendosi të rrisë me rreth 25 për qind numrin e kuotave për në universitet, si dhe pagesën që duhet bërë për të studiuar të shkollat e larta publike. “Kuotat e pranimeve në universitetet dhe shkollat e larta për vitin akademik 2005-2006, në sistemin me kohë të plotë janë gjithsej 26 845 studentë”, thuhet në njoftimin e qeverisë.

01.08.2005 On Friday, July 29, the Parliament of the Republic of Srpska adopted the Law on Changes and Amendments to the Law on National Parks. The Parliament also discussed the contentious Law on University Education.
