In commemoration of Universal Children’s Day, some 120 young people from different ethnic groups visited Albanian Mosques and Serbian Orthodox Monasteries, as part of an awareness raising activity promoting respect for religious sites among the youth in Kosovo. Based on the observation that in post-conflict countries the attention is usually paid to violations of human rights rather than to needs of victims, the International Center for Transitional Justice (ICTJ), a New York City based NGO committed to assisting countries where human rights are severely jeopardized, recently launched The Handbook of Reparations that has the unique approach to the question of justice.

Polazeći od zapažanja da se u post-konfliktnim društvima predstavnici vlasti obično više bave prekršiocima ljudskih prava nego potrebama onih nad kojima su nepravilnosti počinjene, Medjunarodni centar za tranzicionu pravdu (International Center for Transitional Justice), nevladina organizacija sa sedištem u Njujorku fokusirana na pružanje pomoći državama u kojima se dogodila značajna zloupotreba ljudskih prava, nedavno je promovisala obimnu studiju pod nazivom Prirucnik o reparacijama sa namerom da pitanje pravde artikuliše na novi način.
